Privacy Notice for the protection of personal data
Pursuant to the provisions of the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties) (hereinafter referred to as "the Law"), we ask you to carefully read the Terms and Conditions contained in this Privacy Notice, since the mere provision of your Personal Data by sending it to Constructora Amaco S.A. de C.V., whether through our websites (www.amaco.com.mx or https://www.facebook.com/constructoraamaco/ ); and/or to the email of the different representatives of Constructora Amaco S.A. de C.V.; and/or through Direct Dialogue recruiters; and/or through any of our volunteers in any of the different local groups; and/or through citizens acting on a voluntary basis, constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and, consequently, you expressly authorize us to process your personal data:
Terms and Conditions
The purpose of this Notice is the protection of your personal data, through their legitimate, controlled, and informed processing, in order to guarantee their privacy as well as your right to informational self-determination.
In accordance with Article 3, Section V, of the Law, Personal Data means: Any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person. Constructora Amaco S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter "AMACO"), pursuant to the provisions of Section I of Article 16 of the Law, will be the Data Controller of your personal information (Personal Data).
AMACO aims to keep its members and cyberactivists informed, and for that purpose it provides various services which, in an illustrative but not limiting manner, consist of the following: Constant communication via email, telephone calls, SMS, and social media about events, campaign follow-up, outdoor activities, data collection for statistical purposes, sending of newsletters, etc. To provide you with these services it is necessary to process and, in some cases, transfer some of your personal data.
By sending your personal data via email to the different representatives of AMACO; and/or completing any of the online applications that appear on AMACO's website; and/or completing the membership forms for donor members; and/or providing your data through the various signature sheets in support of our campaigns; and/or providing them by telephone to the different representatives of AMACO, you accept and authorize AMACO to use and process, in an automated manner, your personal data and the information supplied, which will become part of our database for the purpose of using them, in an illustrative but not limiting manner, to: identify you, locate you, communicate with you, contact you, send you information, update our database, obtain statistics, and promote AMACO's services, programs, courses, and events.
The period during which your Personal Data will be handled shall be indefinite from the date on which you provide them to us, and you may object to their handling at any time you deem appropriate.
AMACO, as the controller of the processing of your personal data, is obligated to comply with the principles of lawfulness, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and accountability protected under the Law; for this reason, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the Law, AMACO undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality of your personal data, as well as to maintain the administrative, technical, and physical security measures that make it possible to protect them against any damage, loss, alteration, or unauthorized access or processing.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 22 of the Law, you have the right at any time to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition (ARCO rights) to the processing of your personal data, by submitting a request via email addressed to Tonatiuh Aguirre (tona@amaco.com.mx) for matters related to the Database and/or Member Services, or in writing at our address located in Ocotlán, Jalisco. In compliance with Article 29 of the Law, said request must contain the following information: a) Your name and address or another means of communicating the response to your request to you; b) The documents proving your identity or, where applicable, the legal representation of the person making the request on your behalf; c) A clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which you seek to exercise any of the rights mentioned in the preceding paragraph, and d) Any other element or document that facilitates locating your personal data.
If you request the rectification of personal data, you must additionally indicate the modifications to be made and provide the documentation supporting your request. The response to your request will be communicated to you within a period of twenty business days, counted from the date on which it was received, which may be extended by twenty additional days in the cases so established by the Law; so that, if found to be warranted, the measures adopted to fulfill your request are carried out, which shall take place within the fifteen business days following the date on which the response is communicated.
AMACO will occasionally modify and correct this Privacy Notice; therefore, we ask you to review this notice regularly at (http://www.amaco.com.mx/contacto/ ) so that you are aware of the changes and can see how they may affect you.
Cookies are text files that are automatically downloaded and stored on the hard drive of the user's computer when browsing a specific website, and they allow the Internet server to remember certain data about this user.
Among them, their preferences for displaying pages on that server, name, and Password.
